After learning there were not enough “real trail races” in the Capital District, we (Bill and Naomi Hoffman, Tim Ela, and the Hoffman’s fierce but lovable dog Taush) created a company in 2020 based out of Clifton Park, NY to share our favorite trails and grow the local trail running community. Mountain Dog Running’s mission is to provide unique and challenging races on the best trails in the area. Check out our races. We treat each race like a party complete with a BBQ and celebration at the end of the race.
